An Abu Dhabi student has proven that a small act can have a big impact.
Leen Al Badawna, a 12-year-old student at Al Rabeeh Academy, recently cut off her long, dark hair to help provide locks to make wigs for cancer sufferers.
“I found other people who were donating their hair and I thought, ‘Why can’t I donate my hair?’ Leen told us.
“It was sent to a hair donation organisation in London.
“I did it to be kind and to donate it to people that are suffering from cancer. If you have long hair and you want to donate it, that will help people a lot.”
