Yas Marina skies will light up with fireworks for Eid Al Adha

With Eid Al Adha not far away, all of us are bracing with anticipation for the (expected) long holiday break.

And what better way to celebrate the joyous occasion than by watching dazzling fireworks for three consecutive days – from 12th to 14th August – at Yas Marina?

There’s no charge to see the rockets soar and pop, but we have a couple of suggestions if you’d like to watch them in comfort.

Chic restaurant Cipriani Yas Island will open to accommodate revellers who want to enjoy the spectacle over servings of hearty Italian dishes including risotto primavera, baked tagliolini and house speciality carpaccio alla Cipriani. Delizioso!

Add a bit of adventure to your celebration by joining Captain Tony’s Eid Fireworks Fun Cruise where revellers can witness a fireworks display from Yas Island while navigating Al Raha Beach and Samaliyah Island.

AED 100 adults, AED 50 for children aged six to 12, free for children under six. 8.30pm 9.30pm. Visit: yasmarina.ae/events

Spectacular fireworks are a staple during Eid festivities so expect a few more places to be added in this list in the coming days.

Hopefully, we’ll all have time off work to enjoy the festivities.

In July, a four day public and private holiday was announced for the occasion of Eid Al Adha

The Federal Authority For Government Human Resources (FAHR) confirmed in a tweet that in the UAE, Arafat day will fall on 9th Dhu Al Hijjah 1440, with Eid Al Adha following on the 11th, 12th, 13th of that same Islamic month.
