A brand new barbecue restaurant is set to open in Abu Dhabi.

Dickey’s Barbecue Pit will open its first UAE store in Yas Mall next month, serving up a taste of Texas for foodies in the capital.

The restaurant is known for southern style dishes like slow-smoked beef brisket, beef ribs, beef sausages, plus home-style sides including barbecue beans, mac & cheese, creamy spinach and waffle fries.

Roland Dickey Jr, CEO of Dickey’s Barbecue Pit, said: “Our family still proudly continues to serve up the same quality barbecue recipes handed down for generations coupled with the same brand of southern hospitality. There is such a strong synergy between the US and UAE in terms of our love of good food, strong sense of community and appreciation of a good dining experience.”
