House call

Get your holiday house in order with this exciting interactive cooking class for kids. This festive cooking experience guides little chefs as they build and create their own Gingerbread house. In addition to this fun, family tradition, participants get a chef’s hat, apron and certificate. All ingredients are provided, just bring your little one and their imagination lead the way.

Grab the popcorn

Watch movies under the stars to kickstart the weekend. Cinema in the Park will screen back-to-back kid-friendly movies Peter Pan and Kung Fu Panda. What’s more, face painting and origami workshops will be on the ground too.

Zen master

Delve deep into the theory and practice of Zen Meditation with guidance from Buddhist monk, Myosei. Participants will learn the core and fundamentals of Zen Buddhism, mindfulness, self-realisation, change of consciousness, posture, breathing and more.

From the Group that brought you Footloose! The Musical, 9 to 5 – The Musical, The Adams Family Musicaland Legally Blonde– The Musical, Abu Dhabi Choral Group is proud to announce their fall Broadway review show, Around the World in 80 Minutes. Be whisked away on a magic carpet ride as we take you on an international journey through songs such as Vietnam (Miss Saigon), England (My Fair Lady) and Austria (The Sound of Music).

Take to the stage

Abu Dhabi’s longest running open mic night is on and poppin’. Come show your support for local artists as they take to the stage with original poems and music. In between sets, you can enjoy the popular hits spun by none other than DJ ALLAD.

Afghan artistry

Artworks created by Afghan artists are on display at Etihad Modern Art Gallery. Made in Afghanistan features more than 50 artworks from 11 artists. It also includes precious gemstones, handcrafts, antiques and agricultural products from the country. The exhibit is in celebration of Afghanistan’s 100th year of independence. If you’re curious to get a glimpse of the country’s cultural heritage and arts, then this is the event for you.

Play for me

Take your picnic to a whole new level with Symphony in the Park. Roll out your blanket and enjoy the soothing sounds o a renowned international orchestra. To complete the experience, you can purchase a pre-arranged picnic basket or choose nibbles from a variety of food stalls. Children are welcome to experience the orchestra – and a few extras – too with giant sized Jenga, Connect 4 and Snakes and Ladders in the park.
