Get ready to experience books in a whole new way at the first ever night-time Neon Book Hunt. Use maps, LED neon lights clues and your sharp detective skills to hunt for books hidden in around the park. More than 1,000 books will be hidden for bookworms like you to find, read – and best of all – claim as your own. Remember, finding the books is only part of the experience. The Invaderz Interactive Game at Nation Towers Mall features live action projection set up for a realistic yet fun gaming experience. Join craftsman Naresh Kumar, founder and creative director of 24th Street Handcrafted, as he spearheads The Fundamentals – Leather Making ‘Basics of Leathercraft’ workshop until 8th November. The three-day course will give participants an in-depth experience on leathercraft – from techniques, types of leather to artisanal finishing and detailing. Participants will learn how to make passport covers, luggage tags, cardholders, and earphone and coin pouches from scratch and for them to keep.

Thursday, 7th November
Back for another year is the food festival Taste of Abu Dhabi. For three days straight, guests will be treated to a variety of mouth-watering dishes from some of the city’s best (and tastiest) brands and restaurants. Cooking challenges are also scheduled and invited celebrity chefs will make an appearance too. The opening will also see the duo of Ali Campbell and Astro from the legendary reggae-pop band UB40 perform on stage to dish out memorable hits.
