Do you know where to spot these vintage cars?

Now here’s a reason for all you petrolheads to visit Qasr Al Hosn… (not that you need one!)

To mark Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2019, Qasr Al Hosn plays host to an exhibition of classic cars from the 1950s and 1960s.

Al Ruhool, the name of the expo, runs until 30th December and features 21 vintage rides from the past decades.

The exhibition will explore how the urban fabric of the city developed in the mid-20th century with the transition from nomadic styles of transportation to modern-day automobiles.

Camels, horses and on foot  were the early modes of transportation in the UAE.

But discovery of the black stuff  in Abu Dhabi in the 1930s paved the way for roads, the import of  motors from around the globe and cars becoming the main mode of transportation in the capital.

Qasr Al Hosn lends a dramatic backdrop to the exhibit.  w
