UAE Cabinet confirms holidays for December

The Emirates News Network, WAM – shared a Tweet, detailing the UAE Cabinet-approved national holidays for both the public and private sector in 2019-2020.

And it looks like there’ll be a super long, five-day weekend for the combined celebration of Commemoration Day and National Day.

Commemoration Day will be celebrated on Sunday the 1st December, with the following two days (Monday 2nd and Wednesday 3rd December) being devoted to celebrating UAE National Day and the spirit of the union. Added to the weekend of the 29th-30th of November and that equals five full days for most of us.

The announcement also confirmed that the Prophet Mohammed’s birthday (PBUH) will be observed on Saturday the 7th November.
