UAE fuel prices heat up for the summer

For the fourth consecutive month, drivers are going to pay more when they fill up on fuel.

The UAE’s fuel pricing committee has announced increases for petrol and diesel for June. Rises of between one and three percent begin from the first day of the month.

All the new prices are per litre and include VAT:

  • Super 98 up to AED 2.53 from AED 2.48
  • Special 95 sees the biggest rise, to AED 2.42 from 2.34
  • Diesel is up three fils to AED 2.56, from AED 2.53

Prices in May saw a huge jump, with petrol costs rising by about 11 per cent.

New petrol prices are announced at the end of each month and we’ll update you as it happens.
