Thursday 2nd May

curry night

Thursday night is curry night at Kahraman. Feast on curries from around the world with dishes like Indonesian beef randang, Thai fish curry, South African lamb curry, Indian Madras fish curry and Pakistani beef masala all on the menu. mushrif mall mega sale

Looking for a bargain? Mushrif Mall is offering discounts of up to 75 percent across selected brands as part of the Mushrif Mall Mega Sale taking place all weekend. fractal nature art exhibition

ripe organic market

Shop for organic produce at the weekly Ripe organic pop-up market at The Collection. There’s a Star Wars party taking place this Friday in a galaxy not so far away – just as far as Yas Island. Head to Belgian Cafe for the Hoppetizer Brunch featuring DJs, a prize for the best costume and a Star Wars themed quiz. Saturday 4th May

ramadan stone art charity workshop

In the lead-up to the holy month, SEDRA Foundation invites people of determination and their families to join its Ramadan Stone Art Workshop. Create unique pieces of art using natural materials while reflecting on and sharing your family’s Ramadan rituals and traditions. The artworks will later be sold in Deerfield’s Mall to fund activities for children of determination. Free but registration required here. Sas Al Nakhl. 10am-11.30am or 11.30am-1pm.

al qattara family workshop

Al Qattara Arts Centre is hosting its Family Day programme this Saturday. Parents and children aged ten and above can join in fun workshops like cookie preparation and gift wrapping to learn something new. Free. Al Qattara, Al Ain. 5pm-7pm. Contact: 03 711 8225, qac@dctabudhabi.ae

UAE Team Emirates is hosting an open day today as part of its ongoing Youth Academy programme. Boys and girls aged eight to 11 can join in cycling sessions to learn how to ride and improve their bike handling ability. Children can bring their own equipment or borrow equipment at the venue.
