What is Eid Al Adha?

Eid Al Adha, also called the ‘Festival of the Sacrifice’, is the second of two Islamic holidays celebrated worldwide each year, the other being Eid Al Fitr. It falls on the tenth day of Dhu Al Hijjah, which is the 12th and final month of the Islamic calendar and also marks the end of the Haj pilgrimage to Makkah.
