Some of the most skilled young people are coming to the capital

More than 50,000 students from across the country are expected to attend WorldSkills Abu Dhabi, taking place from 15th to 18th October.

The event will host a total of 1,300 students from more than 70 countries who will showcase their creativity in an effort to raise the standards of vocational training.

Engineer Fahar Al Suwaidi, head of marketing and communications for the event, said: “Seeing the huge variety of skills on display such as mechatronics, landscape gardening, fashion technology and cooking is a fantastic chance to be inspired and take the next step towards becoming a skilled professional of the future and contributing to the UAE’s economic diversification.”
