Back once again to provide a large dose of free funny, the comedians of Yalla Laughs are taking to the stage. Headliner Simeon Goodson is guaranteed to make you laugh out loud with his amazing analysis of life in the UAE as a Brooklyn-born expat while funnymen from the US, England, Scotland and beyond will be firing out the jokes to help put a smile on your face. Wiggle on down to Yas


Want to party? It’s just been announced but excitement is building as multi-platinum artist Jason Derulo is in town to perform for fans and start the weekend in style. The performer known for his songs ‘Swalla’, ‘Talk Dirty’, ‘Trumpets’, ‘Get Ugly’ and ‘Wiggle’ will be on stage for one night only at Yas Island’s biggest nightclub. What are you waiting for? Live the Thug Life


Love hip-hop? Then this is the place to be as two DJs go head to head while paying tribute to one of the best rappers of all time: the late, great Tupac Shakur. Passionate about pilates? Step up to the challenge and sign up for this pop-up pilates circuit to work up a sweat in the morning. Get colourful


If you love film then why not try this one on for size? Cutie and the Boxer focuses on the colourful 40-year marriage of the boxing painter Ushio Shinohara and his wife Noriko. And if you’re wondering what a boxing painter does, well, it’s basically painting using a giant set of boxing gloves. Sound interesting? Double, double, toil and trouble


It’s one of the most famous stories ever told with themes of paranoia, ambition, betrayal and morality. Macbeth, penned by William Shakespeare, is best seen on stage and now is your chance to get in on the action. But this is no ordinary production: the all-female cast will be featured around the venue, immersing visitors from scene-to-scene, finding random corners of action and corridors of madness – so if you expect to be seated facing a stage, think again. Does your little one have rhythm? Well, Music Monkeys is looking to create the UAE’s largest music class to raise money for Operation Smile. Suitable for children up to six years old, the class encourages little ones to make noise and cooperate with one another to make music for a good cause.
