Ministry curriculum institutions across Abu Dhabi are set for key academic changes with the announcement of a new nationwide standardised education system.
Due to come into effect with the start of the school year, the new framework will regulate curricula and policies at public and private schools across the country, and unify them under the Emirati School Model, which was announced earlier this year.
With the aim of improving academic performance and consolidating courses, the move is designed to meet the objectives of the Vision 2021 national agenda to deliver a
first-rate education system.
For the 2017/2018 academic year, the changes will apply to all students in ministry curriculum schools up to grade 11, with grade 12 students to continue their current course of study.
