PARENTING: Campaign to help working mums

For new mums, juggling time between baby and business can be tough when maternity leave finishes.


But a new campaign launched by a prominent childcare brand is urging employers to make the office a more baby-friendly location.

Philips AVENT is leading the charge to encourage companies across the country to provide a space for working mothers that are nursing or pumping.

The company launched the campaign after research highlighted challenges faced by mothers in the workplace, with 49 percent of working mums expressing a lack of employer support with regard to breastfeeding.
