Tourists will be spoiled for choice in the coming months with the addition of thousands of new hotel rooms.
According to the Abu Dhabi Hotel Market Summary report by real estate services firm JLL, as many as 2,400 hotel rooms will be added by the end of the year.
The increase is due to the opening of a number of new hotels including the Four Seasons on Al Maryah Island.
The capital has seen a steady increase in tourists in recent years with over four million people travelling to the city last year alone, an 18 percent increase on the previous year.
With the addition of new attractions including the Louvre Abu Dhabi, the number of visitors coming to the capital is expected to continue to increase in coming years.
Also helping to boost tourism to the region, the opening of the new Midfield Terminal at Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH) is projected to increase the number of travellers to 45 million people per year.
