New rules to improve quality of cosmetic services

A new programme has been launched to ensure that employees working in the cosmetics industry have a high level of knowledge about related health issues.

In a move to improve the quality of service and protect customers, the programme will include five sectors with training, testing and certification before a licence is awarded.

Salon workers are also now required to obtain a licence from the Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council after completing an eight-hour training programme.
