For over ten years, Abu Dhabi World has been dedicated to being the capital’s favourite weekly magazine.
Covering everything from charity initiatives, inclusion awareness campaigns and student achievements to live events, new restaurant openings and sports fixtures, it’s safe to say we’re covering all aspects of the community and have met many inspiring people along the way.
But now it’s our turn to give back – and that’s why we’re hosting our first awards.
The Pride of Abu Dhabi Awards 2018 is all about giving the people, organisations and businesses in the emirate the recognition they deserve, while giving members of the community the chance to have their say.
Kicking off on 20th September when registration opens for nominees, the awards will consist of 15 categories in three segments: Gold, Emerald and Diamond.
Just as we consider ourselves an ambassador to this great city, we want you to be an ambassador for our awards, helping us spread the word and ensuring the right people are recognised for their achievements.
Speaking about the awards, Abu Dhabi World editor Rachael Perrett said, “There are various award programmes in Abu Dhabi but none that we feel truly honour the unsung heroes that make our city so great – and that’s where we come in.
“We’re so excited to launch the Pride of Abu Dhabi Awards 2018 so that we can give back to the community. I encourage all of our readers to visit our website and social media platforms to stay up to date and of course, don’t forget to vote!”
Voting will be open to the public on 18th November. To find out more, see the full list of categories and register nominees, visit: adwonline.ae/awards or search for @padawards on Instagram and Facebook.
