It’s the weekend and this one a little bit special. Eid al-Fitr is expected to fall sometime over the next few days so there’s an extra reason to celebrate and a long weekend (for some of us) to make the most of. Are you excited yet?

It’s all eyes on Russia for the next month as the FIFA World Cup 2018 begins. The opening match between the hosts and Saudi Arabia kicks off at 7pm and you can see it at venues across the city. On Friday, Spain plays Portugal at 10pm, on Saturdays France faces Australia at 2pm and Argentina plays Iceland at 5pm, while on Sunday, reigning champion Germany goes up against Mexico at 7pm. It’s back for another year, and the 24-hour Rollercoaster Rally is going to be a whole lot of fun. If you’re an artist or maybe just an aspiring Stan Lee then why not check out the Making Better Comics art class at Art Central?
