Here we go! It’s a long weekend and there’s loads to do over the next few days…

Thursday 15th November 

Take a trip to Saadiyat Island for the tenth edition of Abu Dhabi Art where you can see the best local artistic talent, listen to a range of informative talks, watch film screenings and enjoy performances across the weekend. Start your weekend with a few laughs as some of the best comedians in the country, including Rob McKenzie, Salman Qureshi and Mish’al Eskander, take to the stage to tell jokes as part of the monthly Yalla Laughs show. Free. Friday 16th November 

Gather the family and get along to Yas Fitness Festival to take part in pop-up fitness classes. While there, enjoy a bite to eat at some healthy food trucks and get great advice on cooking and exercise. Free, but registration required. Yas Gateway Park, Yas Island. 11am-8pm. Visit: fitfest.ae

Saturday 17th November 

Children can enjoy a day of fun activity with the Mini Dash, where they can take on a fun run and enjoy a trip to the activity village to learn healthy eating tips and more. AED 75 per child. Umm Al Emarat Park, Al Mushrif. 8am-1pm. Visit: racethedash.com

Let the kids enjoy a unique play experience with Tangle by Polyglot Theatre. Children aged between two and 12 are invited to get creative and weave a ball of brightly-hued elastic around poles in a large play space to make a fun, multi-coloured landscape of intertwining shapes. Sunday 18th November
