A global sporting competition being held in Abu Dhabi is searching for volunteers to help run the event.
The Special Olympics Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Games 2018 has opened applications to find up to 3,000 people to help from 17th to 22nd March 2018.
The event will see over 1,200 athletes of all abilities come to the capital to compete in 16 different sports at seven venues across the city.
Available positions for volunteers include the issuing of credentials, supporting the
online outreach, coordinating events and assisting sports officials.
Some tasks may require specialist or advanced skills but most require no previous experience or specific skillset.
Volunteers must be over the age of 14 and be able to commit to a minimum of three days’ work during the event as well as attending 16 hours of training prior to the MENA Games.
