Mini culture vultures swoop
A Costume Adventure at the Children’s Museum in Louvre Abu Dhabi promises to open the eyes of kids aged four to 10 to the wonders of art and culture. The interactive programme will see little ones engaged in an adventure game inspired by the clothing seen in artworks from the museum’s permanent collection. There’s also a dedicated toddler’s area for kids three years old and below, featuring easy to understand construction games, rag dolls and educational toys. Cram in some classic comedy
Laugh the summer scorch blues away by watching Speedy – the 1928 comedy classic by Ted Wilde – at Manarat Al Saadiyat for Cinema Space. The restored flick is considered as one of the best films featuring multi-talented actor and stunt performer Harold Lloyd. If you love New York, the movie is also packed with landmarks – Coney Island’s Luna Park, Yankee Stadium and Wall Street, among others – for an extra helping of nostalgia. Free.
