If you love video games, table top RPGs or just gaming culture in general, you’ll be excited to hear that the first ever Middle East Games Con is landing in Abu Dhabi.
Hosted from 23rd to 25th November, the convention will showcase a range of YouTube sensations, voice actors, cosplay stars and many more gaming personalities for you to meet and ask questions to on a variety of stages.
Games Con is expected to be the largest gaming event in the region, with more than 15,000 people expected during the three-day event, which will be held in ADNEC. The convention’s organisers, Informa, the same company that brings the Middle East Film & Comic Con to Dubai, will be hosting presentations from top gaming brands such as Alienware and VIVE, bringing an array of gaming, retro and VR experiences to the capital.
With eSports and table top tournaments occurring across the weekend, fans will have a chance to flex their competitive streaks, while budding developers will be able to check out the Indie/Developer Workshop to be inspired by up-and-coming indie developers. The convention will even have a global team of creators develop a brand new game in front of a live audience.
Tickets start from AED 75 per day, AED 170 for an early bird three-day pass. Get your tickets here.
