Children can fall in love with reading this World Literacy Day in the capital.
Al Seef Resort & Spa by Andalus is celebrating the international event from the Al Seef Library with an afternoon of fun, reading and learning.
Embracing the occasion, the library will be turned into a children’s haven with spacious reading areas, comfortable seats and opportunities to meet new friends.
Children visiting and staying at the hotel can also take part in a special reading session on 8th September from 2pm to 4pm.
Fai Hazeem, general manager of Andalus Hotels and Resorts, said: “Literature plays an immense role in honing a child’s learning development.
“Books present a diverse platform where children can explore a multitude of experiences which can enhance their imagination and creativity.
“This event aims to strengthen the cultural and learning values embedded through each learning book by means of encouraging children to explore the fictional and non-fictional world.”
