Don’t pay for fuel pumping if you download this ADNOC app

ADNOC, self service, refuel, petrol, fuel prices

Fill up for free this summer – OK, you’ll still pay for petrol, but there’s no charge for ADNOC’s fuelling service.

Since 2018, drivers in Abu Dhabi have had the option of self-service re-fuelling or paying AED 10 for assistants to top them up.

Now ADNOC Distribution is offering free assisted refuelling at its stations between 11am-5pm in July and August.

To take part in the ‘Hello Summer’ campaign, all you need to do is download the ADNOC Wallet through the ADNOC Distribution app, add credit and pay at the pump using your Emirates ID.

Then you can use the fuelling service for free at ADNOC stations around Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Your handy ADNOC Wallet can also be used to pay for car wash, ADNOC Lube and in the ADNOC convenience stores. The Wallet can be shared with your family and loved ones too – just register their Emirates ID in the app.

Another way to save cash – July fuel prices took a tumble after a steady increase in the last few months. Here’s a break down of what we’re paying at the pumps:

  • The price of Super 98 petrol was cut to AED 2.30 per litre, down from AED 2.53 in June.
  • One litre of Special 95 petrol now costs you AED 2.18 a litre, from AED 2.42 last month.
  • Diesel is now priced at AED 2.35 per litre, falling from AED 2.56.
