A new five star hotel is set to join Abu Dhabi’s already impressive offering of places to stay.
Fairmont Marina Abu Dhabi will open in March 2020, according to the Accor group’s website and social media.
The luxurious 39-storey waterfront hotel is situated along the capital’s coastline, overlooking the Corniche.
Once in business, it’ll offer guests the choice of five swimming pools, access to a private beach and the Willow Stream Spa, with 12 treatments rooms for men and women.
There will be 563 rooms to choose from, some with sure-to-be stunning views over the sea. Its huge arched towers will no doubt offer plenty of dining options, but so far only details of an all-day diner have been made public.
The hotel is certainly well-prepped for celebrations, with 21 rooms for meetings and events, including banqueting space for 2,000 guests.
As you’d expect there will be a fitness centre, but guests who want to work out can also rent bikes or play tennis.
Accor’s website says: “Amid the daring skyscrapers, glamorous shopping malls, and marvels of art and engineering that have come to define the city, it can be tough to stand out in Abu Dhabi. And still, nothing compares to Fairmont Marina.”
