Light up their lives
Parents with concerns about the mental health of their children will find solidarity and support at Darkness Into Light. This safe and non-judgemental space is facilitated by mental health professionals for parents to use as part of their own self-care. Here you can share personal experiences, feelings and coping strategies about what you are going through.

Monday, 20th January
Les do it
The Les Mills fitness empire revolves around high-intensity exercise classes like BodyPump and Zumba that regularly switch up to keep things interesting. Join this free relaunch event at Abu Dhabi Ladies’ Club and find out what the latest edition has in-store. Running all day, it’s open to members and non-members alike.

For more than 30 years, America’s favourite neighbour, Fred Rogers, used a cast of puppets to gently tell children about some of life’s toughest issues. Choosing a school for your kid is a big decision, so get out there and see what the capital has to offer. Here comes the bride
If he’s put a ring on it, you need to know that Bride showcases all of the latest must-haves for your bridal celebrations. Witness fashion shows, exclusive red carpet events with designers, sessions with beauty experts and so much more. Laugh out loud
The Club and Big Fish Comedy are bringing you lots of laughs with The Club’s Big Stand Up Comedy Night. The lineup features three international comedians – Britain’s Got Talent finalist Jon Clegg, one of the UK’s fastest rising comedy stars, Noel Brodie and TV’s ‘The Comedians’ legend Mick Miller. Host Sonja Jayne Salmon will be the cherry on top of this LOL-sundae.

Sew be it
Crafty caring types are needed at a sewing bee to help animals displaced by the Australian bushfires. From 8.30am onwards, they’ll be creating kangaroo, joey and possum pouches, bat wraps and other vital animal rescue craft. Volunteers are also needed to cut fabric, assist the sewers and generally raise spirits at this difficult time. Workers bees will be supplied with free tea and coffee and delicious Australian Lamingtons.
