Ellie Goulding to perform for the first time in the UAE

January will be off to a great start for music fans in the UAE.

English singer-songwriter Ellie Goulding is making her UAE debut at Dubai’s Coca-Cola Arena on 10th January.

The hitmaker has enjoyed a decade of chart success – her style is characterised by instantly recognisable ‘warbly’ vocals backed by a retro synth-pop sound.

She’s won a bunch of awards for her tracks including two Brit Awards, four BMI London awards and even picked up a Grammy nomination back in 2016.

In terms of the banger round up – you’ll know her from ‘Love Me like You Do’ which hit the number one spot in 25 countries.

She’s also the voice behind memorable pop anthems such as ‘Anything Could Happen,’ ‘Burn,’ ‘Lights’ and ‘On My Mind.’

And there was new music in 2019, the track ‘Hate Me’ features rapper, Juice Wrld, and indicates a new musical direction.

The Goulding announcement arrived just a few days after news of a Boys II Men gig in December. Since opening back in April, the venue has scored some huge names in comedy (Russell Peters was here in June and Jo Koy is booked in for January), music (Westlife, Maroon 5) and motivational speaking (Tony Robbins).

Early bird tickets for the Ellie Goulding concert go on sale at 9am on the 28th November (for AED 195).

Tickets on sale from 28th November. AED 195. 10th January, 8pm. Coca-Cola Arena, City Walk.
