Walk the walk
Officially opening to the public for the very first time, The Walk at Al Seef Village Mall is inviting everyone in the capital to be among the first to experience the new outdoor retail zone. Helping to launch the event, La Loupe is hosting a pop-up market packed with scores of food vendors and much more. Many happy returns
You may have been in the capital for a long time but probably not as long as The Captain’s Arms. The popular meet-up place for expats in the city turns 20 this weekend, so there’s an extra reason to meet up with friends and celebrate. Limber up, grab your best trainers and a bottle of water, because it’s time to get your walk on. Walk 2017 is back for the tenth year to mark World Diabetes Day, encouraging all residents in Abu Dhabi to take on the 5.5km walk around Yas Marina Circuit. With family activities including live entertainment and healthy food stalls, it’s a good opportunity to gather your nearest and dearest and enjoy an afternoon outdoors. Get revved up
Calling all petrol heads! This is your chance to feast your eyes on some of the coolest cars in the capital at the Auto Fest. Set course for inside Bawabat Al Sharq Mall and you can feast your eyes on some cool classic cars. Hit the right notes
Take out your best black dress and that bow tie because this is a special evening of music. Join Symphony Toscana Classica, special guest conductor Maestro Giuseppe Lanzetta and international violinist Daria Nechaevan, who are coming together for a collaborative performance. On the night, the ensemble will perform a variety of classical scores including Mendelssohn’s Hebrides Overture, Brahms’ virtuosic Violin Concerto in D and Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 5. From AED 75.
