- What is the Pride of Abu Dhabi Awards?
The only real people’s choice awards, The Pride of Abu Dhabi Awards is the community awards that celebrates the people and companies that make our city great. Created by the people behind Abu Dhabi World magazine, the capital’s favourite weekly magazine, the awards will pay tribute to those who work across various fields from education and events to charity and hospitality.
- What are the categories?
Categories are split into Gold, Emerald and Diamond segments. Click here to see a full list of CATEGORIES.
- How do I register?
In order to nominate your organisation, business or a person for our awards categories, you’ll need to register first. To do so, head over to our REGISTRATION page, fill in all of the details and submit your entries.
Once you have submitted your registration, it is final.
- Who can register?
Nominees for the Gold and Emerald categories must be put forth by business owners and organisers.
Anyone can register a nominee for the Diamond categories.
We encourage everyone to become an ambassador for the Pride of Abu Dhabi Awards. Spread the word and encourage others to register their nominations and vote for their favourites.
- Can I enter multiple venues at my business?
Yes, if your organisation has potential nominees in various categories, you are permitted to register more than one.
- When does registration close?
Registration for nominees will close on 11th October.
- How do I become a sponsor?

- When does voting begin?
Voting will open on 18th October.
- How can I vote?
It’s simple! Head to our VOTE NOW page, register your details and select your nominees.
Our voting partners will be giving away special prizes so hurry up and vote to enter!
- How are winners chosen?
Winners are chosen purely by public votes. When voting closes, the votes will be tallied up to determine the winner in each category.
- I want to vote for someone not listed. What do I do?
Once registration has closed, the list of nominees is final. If you would like to vote for a company or individual that is not listed as a nominee, we are not able to add them. If you feel they should have been nominated, please contact them to encourage them to register next year. If you have any concerns, please get in touch with us at firstname.lastname@example.org
- When does voting close?
Voting closes on 18th November and a list of the top five nominees under each category will be revealed.
- Are votes shared during the voting process?
Votes will not be revealed at any point along the voting process. The top five nominees from each category will be revealed when voting ends.
- How many times can I vote?
Each person may only vote once in each category.
- Can I get tickets to the event?
Tickets are limited and are reserved for nominees and invited guests. Further details will be shared closer to the event date.
- When will winners be announced?
When voting ends, the top five nominees under each category will be revealed. Winners will be announced on the night of the awards show on 5th December, 2018.
- Can I change my vote?
Votes cannot be changed after completing the form so please take your time to submit your vote.
