Thursday 8th February
Enjoy music from South Korean pianist, Seong-Jin Seong as The Chopin Competition gold medalist is in town to perform as part of Abu Dhabi Classics. Fancy some theatre? Experience #JeSuis, an ensemble work choreographed by award-winning contemporary British dancer, Aakash Odedra. Friday 9th February
Eat, drink and be merry at the Goan Carnival. This lively celebration of Indian culture will feature a DJ, bouncy castle, exciting prizes and entertainment for the whole family. Has your fitness resolution fallen by the wayside? Well, get moving with the Walk Unified programme. As Abu Dhabi prepares to host the Special Olympics World Games next year, athletes, volunteers and community members are coming together to encourage a healthy lifestyle through fitness. “Don’t worry…about a thing,” just dance your way down to the fifth annual Bob Marley Birthday Festival. This international event happens simultaneously with other celebrations all over the world. Saturday 10th February
Stroll through stalls of locally grown fruits and vegetables, handcrafted homeware and live cooking stations amid the beautiful surroundings of Umm Al Emarat Park. Take advantage of cooler temperatures and head outdoors for lunch. Abu Dhabi Golf Club hosts a Backyard BBQ every Saturday for members and guests. As the weekend comes to a close, wind down with a movie.
