Bust a gut
Finding the funny side of life in the UAE, serial jokesters Yalla Laughs are back to bring an evening of comedy to the capital. With performers from the US, UK, India and beyond, there’s sure to be a lot of laughs when these stand-ups take to the stage to share their material. It’s going down
Throwing down in Abu Dhabi once again, the biggest names in the world of WWE are preparing for a smackdown. Taking residency at Zayed Sports City for two nights, fans in the capital can see wrestlers including Kane, HHH, Roman Reigns, Enzo Amore, Kalisto, Braun Strowman, The Miz, Finn Balor, Bray Wyatt, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose. Get that festive feeling
It’s the most wonderful time of the year! We’re already excited about the holidays and we won’t apologise for it. If you’re also on the countdown to Christmas then head to Yas Island this weekend as the Let It Snow winter festival opens up for the season. Take to the skies
Playing a key role in Bedouin life, falconry has a rich history in the UAE. Helping to educate the next generation and inspire them to learn more about traditional Emirati culture and practices, the 4th International Festival of Falconry is taking over Khalifa Park this weekend. If you are interested in wildlife and want to see these incredible birds of prey up close then there’s only one place to be this weekend. Free. Khalifa Park, next to Park Rotana. 11am-9pm. They did the mash
Manarat Al Saadiyat was recently renovated adding in new studios and areas for creatives to explore their talents. This weekend MAS Mash is showcasing some of the best talents in the UAE with a host of live music, artistic exhibitions, stand-up comedy and much more for visitors to enjoy. Throw some shapes
Bringing the big beats to the capital after a three-year break, Creamfields Abu Dhabi is back with a bang bringing some huge names in the world of EDM. Taking to the stage for the return of the festival is dance duo Axwell Λ Ingrosso, Canadian superstar DJ Deadmau5 and Above & Beyond. Saturday 9th December
Have a ball
Kicking off the second round of the FIFA Club World Cup, the action comes to the capital after Al Jazira Club defeated Auckland City 1-0 in the opening round at Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium in Al Ain. The UAE’s representatives will be back on the pitch again this weekend to face J-League side Urawa Red Diamonds in the second match of the day after CF Pachuca face Wydad Athletic Club.
