Lime’s UAE general manager Mohamad Nsouli

Lime, the urban mobility provider, is set to roll out its stable of e-scooters in Abu Dhabi this December, a month before Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week on 11th January 2020.

An initial fleet of three hundred e-scooters will be placed along the 8km-long corniche, providing residents clean transportation options and a load of fun!

This makes Abu Dhabi the first in the GCC to launch Lime scooters, joining a network of more than 120 cities worldwide.

All you need to do to get scooting is  download Lime’s app. the rest is plain sailing, or should we say… scooting?

It’s AED 3 to unlock a scooter, and an additional AED 1 for every minute thereafter!

Abu Dhabi’s Integrated Transport Centre gave the green light for e-scooters to be rented out and used in public places in August this year to promote sustainable transport.

Berlin, Germany brand Circ is the first licensed e-scooter to publicly operate in Abu Dhabi.
