Thursday, 9th January
The world’s largest mobile maze is making its way across Abu Dhabi. The Wonder Maze covers an area of more than 2,787 square metres switches up regularly, so every visit could be a new challenge. Luckily there’s a five-metre high viewing platform in the centre of the maze and a quick exit route in case you need to escape.

Into der weekend
German superstar DJ Hell takes to the decks at Boogie Box for a night of heavy-duty techno he’s been honing at the forefront of electronic music since the 1990s. Entry is free all night long, but you’ll want to get there from 10pm to catch local hero Omar Fayyad preparing us for the Teutonic tear-up merchant.

Ride the dunes
Try this off-road experience across the dunes and be part of the Liwa Festival 2020, but don’t forget your camping gear. The UAE Off-Roaders Club is gearing up for a road trip and camp gathering, which is open to all members including newbies. The three-day jaunt includes an off-road drive through the Liwa dunes on Friday 10th January where off-roaders can also get to enjoy the Liwa Festival.

Easy as ADCB?
Fast feet take on the ADCB Zayed Sports City five and 10 kilometre runs. The fun race at Zayed Sports City returns for 2020 under the patronage of HH Sheikha Sheikha Bint Saif Al Nahyan to celebrate 10 years of Make-A-Wish UAE Foundation, which it supports. Fundraising runners dressed in blue set off from 7.45am, so head along and give them a cheer, or pledge to take part yourself.
