The cultural barometer is set to soar in the capital from June to August with two months of family-oriented entertainment, plus mega mall sales, discounts on dining and more.

Running from June to August, Abu Dhabi Summer Season will kick off over the Eid weekend with city-wide celebrations and special offers.

Fireworks start proceedings with a bang over the Corniche and at Al Ain’s Hazza bin Zayed Stadium on 15th June in celebration of Eid Al Fitr, while on the same day, shoppers can take advantage of a city-wide 24-hour mall mega sale.

Running in shopping centres including Yas Mall, Dalma Mall and Bawadi Mall, discounts of up to 90 percent will be on offer for bargain hounds.

On the entertainment front, expect plenty of family fun as famous Korean phenomenon Pinkfong and Baby Shark will make a tour of the emirate’s malls on 15th and 16th and 28th to 30th June for some singing and dancing fun.

Young Nickelodeon fans can meet their favourite characters including SpongeBob SquarePants and the pooches from Paw Patrol at the Nickelodeon Experience in July, while UNITE with Tomorrowland will bring the famous Belgian music festival to du Forum on Yas Island.

For culture vultures, the stage beckons with theatrical horror Al Beit Beit Aboona on 22nd and 23rd June, while festival Sparkles of India will culminate the season in August with cultural dance, food and talent on display in celebration of Indian Independence Day.

Restaurants will be offering special promotions, while hotel staycations and theme park passes will also be discounted.
